hey guys, that's a tight schedule for the music but let's see if I can give it a whirl! I have friends coming that weekend to help us build a fence so it's good news that I don't have to be there until Saturday pm. That should be do-able, but I can confirm only on Saturday. I hope that's OK. In answer to your question, the piano is in the front room of my house - glass french doors close it off from the rest of the house but the neighbours can get noisy. Also, we'll have construction going on in the backyard, though we should be able to quiet that for the recording.
Is there any story parameter that you already know that I can start considering or is it to be announced on the friday pm?
looking forward to it

Hi Andrew,
If you can't confirm until this Saturday, 'das cool. If what you mean is you can't confirm until June 10th, the Saturday of the actual shoot, then that is a fatally incompatible circumstance. All participating team members must be chosen and their names submitted to the contest organisers before the Challenge begins. So after Friday at 7pm (and possibly much earlier, the rules are little vague on that), we can have no substitutions—if we lose a team member at that point, we'll have to play shorthanded. I can't have anyone on the team who can't commit in advance of the weekend.
Thanks for the heads up on the construction. We can bring sound blankets for doors to muffle neighbours sounding off. And no, there are no story parameters announced before Friday evening. We may even have an entire genre imposed on us (comedy, thriller, etc.) on that Friday.

P.S. A number of people have been accidentally posting multiple times. There are two possibilities I can think of that is leading them to do this. First, after posting, you are taken back to the very top of the page, which may cause confusion. Second, your browser caches my page and it may not be registering the changes right away after you post, instead showing you an out-of-date pageview without your post in it. I can code up fixes to both these problems (by scrolling your page down automatically for you and sending your browser a code to force it to recache the page), but I may not have time for a while. In the meantime, scroll all the way down to find your post, and instead of hitting Refresh right away when you don't see it (which may cause your message to post again!), reload the page directly from a bookmark, first. If you do end up posting multiple times, anyway, don't sweat it. As soon as I see them I'll erase the dupes.

Sounds like a lot of fun Paul. My schedule is free for those days. Count me in if you still need any more help. Besides, this type of shooting-style is up my alley. Since you helped me on my film, I'm returning the favour. Thanks again.

Great, Dave. I appreciate the offer! You've got a lot of very cool ideas. It was a lot of fun working on your reshoot, however briefly, and I can't wait to see the edit. It's particularly interesting to me to to finally see how you're going to fit all of those timelines together.
Most of those who are going to express interest have done so by now, I guess. Our producer and I will be meeting this weekend to discuss and finalise what ratio of skills we need to pick for the team. We'll post Monday night, at the conclusion of the long weekend, with the news.

Hi, Shelly, thanks for posting! You've been on the list for a while, since you expressed interest at Robin's workshop. Your improv skills are topnotch and that's exactly the sort of thing we need. Hopefully I will have room for as many of the great actors I have available as possible!
